Jefferson County is offering FREE COVID-19 testing for anyone 5 years of age and older. The testing will take place in a drive-thru format. You will stay in your vehicle and drive-thru the Fair Park until you reach the testing site. You will continue to stay in your vehicle while the test is administered. You can get tested even if you have no symptoms. No appointments are needed, however registration is needed in order to receive your results.
Ways to register:
ONLINE: Register at anytime online at
register.covidconnect.wi.gov
. The registration form does not ask you to select a testing time or location. Your QR code can be scanned and used at any testing site that is being administered by the WI National Guard. However, your code is only good for one time use. If you are going to get tested multiple times, you will need to register each time and receive a new QR Code each time. Pre-registration is strongly reccomended!
IN-PERSON: Testing personnel will document your information and ask for verbal contest of testing when you are on-site if you have not already registered online. A member of the testing team may ask you to pull aside, out of the line, to complete the in-person consent process prior to testing.
Wait times could be long, be prepared. Here are some tips if you’re planning on going:
Please follow the traffic pattern detailed in the map below and stay in your lane unless otherwise directed.
Don't all come at once! The first 2 hours of testing seem to be the busiest and longest wait times. Help us spread out wait times by arriving later in the day.
Register online ahead of time at
register.covidconnect.wi.gov.
Once registered you will receive a QR code. Please save that QR code to your phone or print it out and have it ready to be scanned when you arrive. Registering ahead of time will speed up the wait times and allow the testing center to send your results via email.
Make sure you have a full tank of gas
Please don’t bring your pets
There are no indoor or portable toilets available
There will be Spanish interpreters available
Registration instructions in additional languages are below. Click the image to go to the registration website.
