What is it?
We're inviting members of the Jefferson County community to
bring their bands, dance troupes, comedians, drumlines, and other talents to
perform at the Fair on our new Community Stage.
Centrally located north of the Activity Center, performers will be able to perform to a seated audience, in a family-friendly environment. This will be the ideal space for performers to reach new audiences, and will be a great space for fair-goers to sit back, enjoy some shade, and listen/watch some local talent.
Who can Participate?
We are looking for acts that involve local talent – aka anyone within Jefferson County. Performers should have a history of performing anywhere.
Acts include, but are not limited to: jugglers, comedians, cloggers, gymnasts, puppeteers, hula hoopers, rock bands, scarf dancers, mimes, magicians, story tellers, beatboxers, improv troupes, and much more!
Your Performance:
Each group selected to perform will have one hour of stage time. This includes time for setup, performance, and takedown, so we recommend preparing accordingly to maximize your stage time. We encourage performers to bring any additional equipment or props needed to personalize the act.
Sign-Up!
Below is a form to sign you/your group up to perform, please complete only one form per group. A member of the Fair Park Staff will be reaching out to the contact listed once the form is completed. Each participant will need to purchase one ticket, which we are offering for a reduced rate of $5.
