The 2021 Jefferson County Fair is rapidly approaching and we are excited to see what unique and creative projects you will all be exhibiting in the Cultural Arts Department at this year’s Fair.
A few reminders to make your participation a success:
- Please read all rules carefully for each class.General Rules page 2, #17 reads “Exhibits not fulfilling all department rules and requirements will be lowered one placing.”
- Entry Tag Rules:
- Paper, poster board, or matted entries do not need a hanging device. These entries will be displayed on boards using staples or push pins.
#7 reads “Entry tags are to be attached to exhibits PRIOR to judging of the items.Framed artwork tags should hang on the TOP RIGHT FRONT.”
#8 reads, “Any entry meant to hang should be prepared prior to judging using the following methods: sawtooth hanger, triangle mirror frame hooks, or picture hanging wire.NO GLASS will be allowed in the frame.Plexi-glass is OK.Fasten entry tag on upper left-hand corner on the back of the picture so it can be flipped to the front to be exposed on the right upper corner to save damage to the frame.”
Entries lacking a secure way to hang will be unable to be displayed.
